As used in this Privacy Policy, the terms “Rabble” and “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Jane Q, Inc and its affiliates. These terms also include our vendors, contractors, and agents, except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.

What information do we collect from you?

If you visit our Website, we automatically collect certain information to help us operate the Website, including the type of device you use, the version of your operating system, and the unique identifier of the device.

We also collect information you provide directly to us through the Website, including when you choose to make an account. The account allows you to invest in our projects. If you make an account, we may collect the following information from you:

  • Contact information (name, email address, mailing address, phone number)
  • Billing information (debit card or checking numbers)
  • Financial information (your income)
  • Social Security Number
  • Your preferences (project wish lists, subject interests, marketing preferences)

We may combine non-Personal Information about your use of the Website with similar information that we obtain from other users in an aggregate or anonymous manner.

  • Process an investment that you make in a Rabble project;
  • Deliver communications to you;
  • Conduct internal market research on who invests in Rabble projects;
  • Detect and protect against fraud or criminal activity;
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations;
  • Improve our site; and
  • Monitor and enforce Rabble’s Terms of Use.

If you invest in a Rabble project, you will remain anonymous to everyone outside of Rabble. The recipient of Rabble capital (aka the project team) will know the aggregated information of the investors, such as the number of individuals, the range of investment size, and summary demographic figures.

How do we share your information?

We do not share your information, including Personal Information, with third parties for the third party’s own direct marketing purposes.

We may share your information, including Personal Information, with our vendors, service providers, and agents to the extent reasonably necessary to provide you with the Website and services.

We may also share your information, including Personal Information, with:

  • Service providers and contractors to the extent reasonably necessary;
  • A third party that acquires Rabble or a majority of our assets, if that third party obtains the rights to provide the Website or services and subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy;

  • You, upon your request; and
  • Other third parties where you have consented to do so.

If we receive a request from a governmental authority to provide it with your Personal Information, we will take reasonable attempts to notify you of such request.

Rabble uses Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to gather End User’s data from financial institutions. By using our service, you grant Rabble and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid Privacy Policy.

You control your information.

You can always choose not to provide information. If you do, you may not be able to take advantage of certain functions of our site, such as investing in a project.

When you make an account with Rabble, your personal information is under your control. If it changes, you may update your information by changing it in your account settings.

If you no longer want to retain an account, you can delete your account. If you delete your account, we will not retain your information.

You can also control how you want to hear from us, and how often. If you have an account, we will use your name and address to send occasional emails to you. You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter, project related emails, or any marketing email by following the unsubscribe instructions OR changing the email preferences in your account settings page.

A cookie is a very small text file that websites store on a visitor’s computer for record keeping purposes. Cookies help websites remember visitors and run more efficiently. We use cookies on this site. The cookies we store on your computer are not linked to any personal information you submit while on our site.
